Summer fun with mommy

Since I have been home with Reagan for a couple weeks, we have been having a really fun time (or at least I have, I think maybe Reagan might get bored without other kids around). We have been playing outside, and entertaining inside. We went down to the park in our edition today to try out the swings and playground. Reagan discovered that he can climb up the stairs to the slide, so we took a couple turns down it with him giggling all the way. He was pretty proud of himself for making it to the top (with me being paranoid and right behind him of course).

Here's Reagan working on his lawn mower in the garage all red-faced.

Relaxing on his John Deere chair in his jammies with his Jack. When I told him to look at the camera, this is the face I got.

We hope everyone else is enjoying their summers too!

4th of July Weekend

4th of July is always a fun-filled, busy holiday. Reagan had fun at Mamoo and Papaw's house for the celebration with family and friends. Even though he didn't stay up for the fireworks, he did test the pool water with Mamoo (in his clothes by the way). Saturday we went boating with Aunt Keisha, Matt, cousin Jaiden, and cousin Layten. For your viewing pleasure...

A little silly peek-a-boo fun!

Florida Vacation 2008

We went to Daytona Beach Shores with Nick's family June 21-28. It was a very nice vacation. We had a great time, and we are very grateful to them for inviting us to go along. Our condo was awesome! Reagan did very well with sleeping in a new environment, and he was a lot of fun. I think he even wore Papaw, Grandma, Aunt Jayse, Uncle Kory, and Uncle Kolin out (we are a little more used to his energy). Reagan and I flew down, and he was wonderful on the plane (slept most of the way both ways). We will share some pictures...

First walk on the beach

The sand was fine as long as it wasn't touching him.

Daddy cleans off his hands.
The Dunn Boys
Uncle Kory and Reagan
Papaw and Reagan (Papaw's goal was to have Reagan saying his name by the end of the week, and he succeeded..."Papa")
First experience with the water: It was a little cold, and he wasn't a fan.
Sitting on the beach towel to keep the sand off (before he got used to it)
Hanging with Papaw
Sequence of events trying to ease Reagan into the water and sand...

He eventually got the hang of it, and he loved digging.

...and slinging...
The pool was a little better for Reagan. He even went under water and "jumped" off the side a few times.

Thanks again Grandma and Papaw for the vacation. We had lots of fun!

Reagan Updates and Random Pics

Reagan took his first steps on his first birthday....he must have known that it was time to start walking. About a week later, he was making trips across the room (with his arms in the air for balance). Then, another week later, he was standing up by himself in the middle of the room and walking for his primary mode of transportation. Now, he walks everywhere and is getting quite good at it (even with his arms more to his side...he's a pro)!

Here he is getting into the pantry, trying to find a snack. He loves to eat!

Here is his first ride in the bike trailer Mamoo and Papaw got for his birthday. He likes it once he gets going, and he thinks he is pretty cool in his shades. We took him to DQ for his first ice cream one evening on a bike ride.

Reagan's first encounter with a horse at Gma and Gpa Huffers. As you can see, he was a little bit nervous and scared.

Here we are at my good friend, Jenny's, son's 1st birthday party. Landon turned one just about 3 weeks after Reagan.

We just got back from Daytona Beach with Gma and Gpa Dunn. I will post pictures and stories in the next couple of days.

Reagan's 1st Birthday!

FINALLY!! I don't have a lot of pictures because I really did not want to use my old camera (since we couldn't find our newer one). We took lots of video instead.

Reagan's very own 1st Birthday cake (no pictures of the big cake because of some VERY ugly flowers)

He wasn't so sure about the cake at first, but...

...he got the hang of it and liked it very much!

Reagan's 1st Haircut!

Daddy wouldn't let Reagan get a real "big boy" haircut until after his first birthday, which is coming up by the way, but Mommy talked him into a trimming before his 1 Year pictures. Here are some before and after pictures:

AFTER (not so happy with Stacy):

What a big boy now!!

Little Taste of Spring Weather

It was a beautiful day today, so we went for a walk and did some swinging too. It was pretty windy, so Reagan still wore his hat to keep his ears warm. He had a really good time. We can't wait for it to warm up just a bit more, so we can be out for longer periods of time. I think he'll like the summer!

The Pouty Face

So Reagan is supposed to like his new remote-controlled car, but I guess this wasn't a good time to try it out since he was tired. When Nick made it go, Reagan was not too happy about it. We love the pouty face so much, we had to capture it for you all to see. It's his new favorite face when something doesn't go his way.

Reagan's 1st Easter

Reagan had his first visit from the Easter Bunny.

Of course, he wanted to eat the grass from his basket.

He doesn't look too thrilled about gettting dressed for Easter Sunday Church Service.

All dressed up and ready for church.

Big Boy...

I just had to share this picture of Reagan. Does he look like a 9-month-old? He had his 9-month appt, and he weighs just over 23 lbs now. He is a big boy.

Oh well, at least we know he's healthy! Well, nutritionally maybe, but the poor guy is sick all the time. He has a cold again!
