We have been dreading the transition of Reagan to a big boy twin bed to prepare for the baby's arrival, partly because I am sad to see my little baby not a little baby anymore (though he looks so tiny in that big bed). We were a little worried that our always-a-great sleeper would turn into a not-so-great sleeper, especially with naps. Well, he amazed us again! The first night was a little scary for him at first, so after some soothing, we just had to let him cry a little (less than 5 minutes) before he fell asleep for the whole night. The next night, he went right to sleep after about 30 seconds of fussing first. The next day, he was home with Nick, so he got to try it out for a nap, and he smiled, rolled over, and slept well. He hasn't cried about it since. I think he likes his new bed because sometimes if we are in his room, he tells us he just wants to go to bed even when it's not time yet. I am so thankful. His room is almost transitioned to his big boy room except for his dresser that we still need to clean out and move to his room from the spare bedroom that is going to baby girl's room.
This picture shows it all made up the first night. He notices his tractors a lot more now and loves his "billow" too. He is all over the place still, so we have 2 railings to keep him and his Jack in bed.
This was a picture of him sleeping the second night. It's a rare shot of him actually where he is supposed to be, usually he is sideways and never at the top.
